Thank you for choosing to create a New Jersey Tax Portal profile with the Division of Taxation. Select a profile type to learn more about it and find the one that's right for your needs.
An Administrator profile will provide you full access to the taxpayer entity and its accounts. Administrator profiles are usually set up by the owner of the entity. This type of profile allows the administrator to authorize and grant access to Delegated users. To link your entity to your portal profile, you will need to enter shared secrets to validate your permission to access the entity’s information. Multiple individuals can set up Administrator profiles and link to the same entity if need be.
A Delegate profile will provide you access to certain functions and tax accounts on a taxpayer entity as designated by the Administrator. A Delegate profile will allow you to perform tasks like filing returns and making payments, with less access than Administrators. Delegate profiles are usually set up by accountants and employees of the Taxpayer Entity. There is no limit on the number of authorized users or their access combinations. Each user's access is determined by their Administrator(s).
